Rest In Peace

Arlan... Alex... Goldfishy... Jack [the snail]...

All within several weeks.

Arlan found dead in his recliner with his husky by his feet. He had been dead for 4 days before they found him. I remember his dog... so sweet and gentle. Arlan always appreciated me when I helped out at Arbor Village. His memorial service was yesterday, but I had a drive. I would have been there.

Alex died today. Technically he's not dead, as he's only brain dead. Still, keeping him alive would be nearly the same as letting him go. Currently, he's only on life support because his organs will be donated. I've known him ever since I've known his step-mom. Probably 10-11 years. He was born with water in his brain, which caused his mental-like behavior. Idk what it is technically, similar to autism I suppose. He was so kind and funny in his own way.

Fish/Jack. Well, someone unplugged the tank. They both died. I thought Jack was just being a snail, but no. He's floating around right now. I hoped that snails float sometimes... but I think he's really dead.
