Silly MTV Shows

When there's nothing on ABC Fam/Nick/Disney, I resort to MTV. There's sooo many filler shows they have. A lot of them are reality shows about random celebrities. I swear, if you're famous, you can get a show on MTV. Desperate folks.

Anyways, today there was this show called "True Life" or something like that, I don't even remember. Today's episode was about compulsive shoppers. HAHAAHAHH. It was sort of funny how camera men followed chicks with big bucks around all day. They would just be leaving the store, then the girl would be like "Hm, I like that shirt. Let's go back." Lmao. Fake, but some things seemed true.

If I was a snobby richkid, I would probably be in their shoes too. Instead, I scour through racks and racks and sales and clearances armed with coupons and my stinking debit card. Hahahah, oh to be rich. But then, it would take all the fun out of shopping for me. I get a happy feeling when I find cheap wearable items, hahah. Dorky, I know. I don't think I ever buy stuff that are regular price except the occasional pairs of shoes.

I think it's sort of funny how people frown upon shopping like it's the work of the devil. Maybe it's because they're so unwilling to go along with a girl stereotype, maybe they think it's a waste of time, maybe their mommy dresses them, who knows. It's shopping. You're not spending their money. Er, maybe you are. It's like, clothes are a good way to express yourself. It sets you apart. It's cliche, but truee. If you look like everyone else, then what's the point of that.

Hm, is there a point to this post? Hahah, like I would know. I guess I'm just being defensive against something silly. It's a stereotype that I'm not trying to ditch anytime soon.
